At The Father's Heart Charitable Foundation, our mission is to provide services to the less fortunate by feeding the homeless, giving counseling, and extending a helping hand to those in need. We believe that everyone deserves a chance to live a dignified life, and we strive to provide the resources and support that can make this possible.
Testimonies
The Father’s Heart is a wonderful ministry that serves hot meals and much more to the homeless
community in Marietta Georgia at the Shady Grove Baptist Church. Their Thursday night
presence brings positive energy to a bleak environment as many in the ministry have become
friends to many in this homeless community. The ministry not only provides meals and material
items, such as clothing, blankets, etc. they warm the environment with Christian music and
fellowship and offer assistance with unique challenges that are obstacles in the day-to-day lives
of those they serve and with achieving self-sufficiency. Their fellowship is genuine without it
feeling forced or routine, and the community is engaged as there is a positive spirit that fills the
area when this ministry is present. This spirit goes beyond the Thursday night meal service as
anyone in the community is welcomed to attend services at their respective churches with
transportation provided. Many, including myself, attend services at Abiding Church with Dianne
Partain, and it is through her involvement with The Father’s Heart and affiliation with Abiding
Church that I have met many other wonderful and genuinely caring church family.
